Welcome
Welcome to the website of the ICASSP 2027 Satellite Workshop Wireless and Ambient Sensing AI (WASAI): Algorithms, Models, and Applications. Wireless sensing using RF signals such as Wi-Fi, mmWave, UWB, RFID, and 5G/6G has transformed communication infrastructure into a ubiquitous sensing platform, enabling applications from presence detection and vital sign monitoring to fall detection and smart-space automation.
This workshop brings together researchers and practitioners to address two broad categories of open challenges: algorithmic challenges in cross-domain generalization, data-efficient foundation models, and few-/zero-shot adaptation; and systems-level challenges in sensing-communication coexistence, privacy-preserving sensing, multi-target scalability, and the growing gap between sensing-capable wireless standards and their commercial deployment.
The program features invited talks by leading experts, contributed presentations, and a panel discussion. See the Program page for the schedule and the Speakers page for talk details.
